GolfThe Golf Tournament has Sold Out and we will be unable to accept further registrations. Thanks to everyone for making this a great out! - - Check in at 8:00am. Shotgun start at 8:30am. - - The Ankeny High School Alumni Association's 7th Annual Golf Tournament will be held July 9th at the Otter Creek Golf Course. Come join us for great day of golf, some barbeque and catching up with old friends. The golf tournament helps the Alumni Association raise money for the AHS Alumni Scholarship Fund. The 2009 Golf Tournament was a huge success with a fabulous day of golf enjoyed by everyone. The Alumni Association would like to extend a special thanks to all of our sponsors. We are also pleased to announce that Donaghy-Kempton Insurors are sponsoring a $10,000 hole-in-one prize! With the help of our Tournament Sponsors and participants the AHS Alumni Golf Tournament has been able to raise over $7000 since its inception. The success of the golf tournament, along with other fundraising activities, has allowed the Ankeny Alumni Association to do the following:
The proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Ankeny Alumni Association's Scholarship Fund and other related alumni association business activities. The alumni association is a designated 501(c)(3) charity and all contributions are tax deductible. Each year the Alumni Association awards scholarships to deserving Ankeny High School seniors, in addition, the association remains in contact with past alumni by publishing and mailing an annual newsletter. The golf tournament is used to help supplement the association's budget, beyond what is recieve in member dues. The tournament brings past alumni, community leaders and businesses together to acheiving the goal of providing scholarships to our graduating seniors. We thank you for your support.
